ROSEHAVEN MAGIC RAIN
Sally Steinmetz writes… ROSEHAVEN MAGIC RAIN (Rosehaven Talisman LOM/AOE x Hidden Creek’s Rain Belle LOM) I was delighted the day that ‘Magic’ was born as he greatly resembled his sire, with his dun color and big grey circles around his eyes. There was no doubt that he was going to be another grey for me! His name was chosen to have Rain in it after his dam and her sire, Cymraeg Rainbeau. He wasn’t gelded until the end of his yearling year, so he showed his first year in the B Colt Division and was National Reserve Champion. As a gelding, he was National Champion his two year old year in the Two and Under Division and again as a three year old in the Three and Over Division. His great curiosity and easy going nature made him very lovable and easy to train. He started his performance career at the end of his three year old year in the Adult English Pleasure Division. As a four year old, he competed in Low Hunter and Adult English Pleasure, getting national high score awards in each. Being a versatile Welsh pony, he also gamely went in Western Pleasure and Trail. His very successful four year old year gave him enough points to receive the Spring Valley Runner High Score Gelding and his individual Legion of Merit.
