ROLLINGWOODS COWBOY UP
Rollingwoods Cowboy Up (*Sleight of Hand LOM OD x Rollingwoods Stick 'Em Up) 2003 Section B Grey Gelding. When Cowboy Up was sent to me to break as a three year old I immediately knew that I had a “Superstar.” Turner promptly named him Chewey for his favorite Star Wars Character, Chewbacca, and a never has a barn name suited a pony better. Chewey is a lovable goofball who delights in picking up anything within his reach. He almost caused a pony riot the day that he picked up the blue tarpaulin and chased my whole herd with it. He nearly had a ball permanently imbedded in his mouth the day that he grabbed the soccer ball and we had to prize it out of his mouth. Despite these adventures he has a very loving personality and quickly became a barn favorite. Lightly shown as a three year old he garnered good ribbons in English Pleasure. Soon he was spotted by Cheryl Maye of Maye Show Ponies and the rest was history. He has excelled in the hunter ring as well as English pleasure and Ridden Pony under Cheryl’s expert tutelage. It is due to her excellent care and training that he is earning his LOM and ready to embark on a career in the hunter world. Sally Ross Davis
