LOAFERS LODGE SUPERMAN
Loafers Lodge Superman LOM “Soupie” was foaled in 2007, he’s by Fox Cry Whinny the Pooh LOM and out of Loafers Lodge Aerodynamics. Whereas Meg Gill trained and showed all three of Rosmel’s Pollyana’s offspring (Aerodynamics being one) she laid claim to this little colt and named him Superman. Not every pony can say they’ve worn a red cape but Soupie can. Shown as a 2 and under gelding in 2009 Superman excelled, he was 2009 National Champion 2 and under B Gelding. In 2010 Soupie even managed to make the transition to the 3 and over division and repeated the win, 2010 National Champion 3 and over B gelding. Soupie was a willing pupil and was shown in the English Pleasure division by both Meg (Jr) and a wonderful friend Carol Copeland (Adult). Soupie also showed in the Low Hunter, the most hotly contested hunter division on the East Coast and was 4th in the Nation. Soupie’s other performance points were garnered in the Western Pleasure divisions. If everything goes as planned Soupie has his own junior rider to carry in the Pony Hunters.
