LOAFERS LODGE PENELOPE
Loafers Lodge Penelope LOM Penelope was foaled in 2003, she’s by Rollingwoods Pick My Way LOM and out of Rosmel’s Pollyana LOM. It was the year of the palomino filly foals, all turned gray however. From day one Penelope had this people pleasing personality. Penelope was started under saddle then turned out to mature. In 2007 Meg Gill campaigned her and they had a super season. Their national year end awards included 4th English Pleasure 12.2 and under and Reserve Champion Hunter 12.2 and under netting over 600 points. Penelope contributed to both Pick’s and Pollyana’s LOM awards. We noticed her performance points were adding up, she mostly needed those hard to get breed points. Here on the East Coast we think the B mare division is the most competitive. For the most part she was shown in breed in 2009 and 2010. I’m sure she was pleased not to perform too much this past year as she was in foal. We hope she can now switch careers and continue the family tradition of producing top performers.
