Individual Legion of Merit

Inaway Rose of Sharren aka Princess Rosie (Westrum’s Royal Prince X Flying Diamond Black Fire) is a home bred product of Fred and Nancy Cota’s Inaway Farms in Elizabethtown, Illinois. Rosie went to the -27-Training Center with Wendy Stephens and began her show career in the spring of 2009. The two competed in English Pleasure, Western Pleasure, and Adult Trail winning the National High Point Award in Western Pleasure and placed 4th Nationally in English Pleasure, Adult Trail, and Leading Rein. Wendy and Rosie ended the year being the USEF Horse of the Year Adult Welsh Pony. Rosie continued her show career in 2010 and was successful in halter with one of the highlights being the Reserve Supreme Champion at Penn-Marydel Eastern Nationals along with winning the Leading Rein and Western Pleasure Championship. At the Heartland Welsh Show Rosie was the Overall Highpoint Welsh and ended the year as Reserve National High Point in Western Pleasure and 3rd Nationally in Adult Trail. Rosie is retiring to broodmare status and will be bred to Flying Diamond The Bailef LOM/AOE for a 2012 foal.
