Individual Legion of Merit

From the start we knew Goldhills Broadway Lights was going to be special. At her very first show as a weanling she was double 1st and double Res. Champion filly and with each year since the wins have kept coming. "Brook" ended her yearling year as the WPCSA National Res. Champion Filly and her 2 year old year she was 3rd Nationally. 30 days before the first show in the 2010 season "Brook" was started under saddle with the intent that she would be shown in performance a little later in the year. Well, at the first show we all realized that the Jr. A/B western division was a pony short of full and we quickly concocted a plan to have Sierra Haglund catch ride "Brook" to fill the division. With her mother's permission, Sierra said she was game and a pairing was made that accumulated a number of Championships through the season. We would like to thank Sierra for all her hard work and for showing "Brook" for us all season!! Sierra showed "Brook" in both English and Western all season with the two of them earning 4th Nationally in Jr. A/B English Pleasure. "Brook" also had a fantastic halter year in 2010 that accumulated to being named the WPCSA National Champion Sec. B Mare. "Brook" earned her Legion of Merit with 1,284 Halter points and 589 Performance points as a three year old. We are now greatly looking forward to the arrival of "Brook's" first foal that is due in April by Goldhills Most Wanted, LOM/AOE.
