GALLOD ROSIE MAI

Image 11 of 42

Gallod Rosie Mai’s (Nebo Calonog X Marbren Rose) journey to achieve her LOM demonstrates the friendships and family effort that are hallmarks of the WPCSA. Susan Stepney of Gallod Welsh has been a friend for many years and we have been fortunate to enjoy many of her cobs. When she suggested Rosie Mai come to the US to be shown in halter and under saddle in return for a foal a deal was struck. In 2007 Rosie Mai was WPCSA champion 3 and over Section C Mares. As we needed a mount for lead line , walk, and walk trot Rosie Mai’s job list grew. As Yvette Petersen started to show Rosie Mai in hand another job came to be. In 2010, Emma Foreman was Rosie Mai’s rider for walk, walk trot and walk trot poles. Yvette Petersen showed her in showmanship and in hand. Ann Petersen showed her in C and D hunters. With a busy year Rosie Mai finished WPCSA reserve champion Section C mare 3 and over and WPCSA Champion Adult C and D hunters. We are grateful to Susan Stepney and Gallod Welsh for her friendship and support in allowing us to share our home with Gallod Rosie Mai. Gallod Rosie Mai demonstrates the best qualities of the Welsh breed and has made many great memories for our family.
