FARMORE ROYAL SECRET

Image 7 of 42

This big moving daughter of *Telynau Royal Charter came out on the show circuit with Farmore Farms Welsh during her six year old year. Her show career was delayed due to the very successful Farmore Royal Heiress showing an additional year to finish her Award of Excellence. Royal Secret's first major Gold show was the Santa Barbara National where she went Supreme Champion. But the focus for this mare was on her performance career and she did not disappoint us there either. Always the lazy one, Royal Secret needed to be "woken up" to go in the ring. Given the opportunity, she would show in halter like a lead line pony; however, if she were motivated, she could move with the best of them. She was always a top contender in English and Western Pleasure and added Long Stirrup Hunters and Junior English Pleasure to her list as well. Although Royal Secret's dam, Shamrock Silverhawk was never shown in her younger days she more than made up for that with very successful sons and daughters. They have all been shown and/or had very successful breeding careers. Silverhawk received her Dam Legion of Merit in 2009 with Creek Hollow Venture, Farmore Captivating and Farmore Royal Secret. Her sire, *Telynau Royal Charter, needs no introduction culminating a show career second to none. With over four thousand points in four years of showing in the United States, 27 Championships in the UK and 39,000 sire points to date (2010) out of 9 foal crops, he has given Royal Secret a legacy to follow. Farmore Royal Secret comes by her heritage honestly and we expect only the best from her in her future broodmare career. She will be bred to *Eyarth Grenadier in 2011 and will join our show team headed for the hunter world.
