FARMORE IMAGINATION
Haley’s (Farmore Imagination) first show was when she was a two year old. Being a full sibling to the very successful and aptly named Farmore Royal Success made us decide to try something new. Royal Success had become a pet on the show circuit at a very young age so much so that we were able to use him at the last minute as a w/t pony for a ponyless child when he was just two years old (and not yet broke to ride!) He became a little dull in the halter ring due to his “very laid back” demeanor. So, as a project, we left Haley completely unhandled to see if we could show a feral pony to the same success as the well handled older brother. The “test” looked to be a failure when we could not catch her in her 12 x 12 stall at her first show. Clippers were not an option and grooming a moving target proved less than optimal, but she sure showed well winning her class. Her junior show season ended at Tulsa where she won her filly class, the junior championship and Youngstock Champion and continued to Reserve Grand Champion Sec B. She went all the way to the Supreme class where the senior stallions won but she was the only two year old to get to the Supreme class. We were so proud of her. Her performance career started her six year old year (2010) where she was division Champion her first time out and at the end of the season at Tulsa, (Central National Welsh Show), she walked out of the ring with a Supreme Championship in halter, a division Championship in Low Hunters and a clean sweep in both the Sr A/B English and Western Pleasure and their divisions. Truly a super ending for this “project” pony who now follows her Legion of Merit Dam Farmore Enchanting and LOM, AOE, OD Sire *Telynau Royal Charter. With a permanent USEF card at 12.2 hands, she will now have her sights set on Pony Finals.
